6 months later.

Well, not quite 6 months later, nothing great has happened.
I've been busy with real life (Moving, holiday, etc) as well as this bullsh*t thats going on with the Porsche, but over the past month I've been trying hard again.

About a month ago, he actually spoke to me - he told me to call back in 3 weeks, since he's on holiday with his children.

I called back, this time he wanted to make an appointment. I told him I dont need an appointment, I need my money or my car - the car is still in his garage, so whats the trouble with giving me what is mine?
Anyways, he just hung up on me then.

Since then I've been in touch with him a few times.

I, along with a few friends (I'd be glad to have you help me too) have been calling him regularly trying to get through.
Some left nice messages, some tried to talk.. Nothing worked.

I got through to him three times.
Once I said my name - upon which he hung up.
Once I asked him when he wants to stop being so childish - upon which he hung up.
And the final time, I asked him if I've started annoying him yet.

If I'm not yet, he must be a very patient man.

The full story.

This is the full story of what happened with me, and my first car.

My name is Lyn Davies, and I live in a small town near Hamburg, Germany.
I had purchased this car about seven months ago.
It was a 1973 Porsche 911t, with a LOT of work needing to be done with it. I never really did like the car to begin with - my dad kinda talked me into getting it. We both chipped in and wanted to rebuild the car from the ground up.
We bought the car about 7 months ago, for 5,000 Euros (About $6,500 US) at which point we were leaving it at a local car garage.
He came over soon after with a truck load of parts, and after loading it all into the house, we had a whole room of porsche parts! From brand new leather interior, to new exhaust pipes, brakes, everything.
This is where the problems began.. Martin (The person selling the car) never did come by with the cars title.
We waited months.. Called him, and every time we heard the same words: He'd come by tomorrow with the title.

Everytime something came up, and he said he couldn't come, or (most of the time) he just didn't bother.
Obviously, I didn't want to start work on the car without legally owning the car, so it just stood in my driveway for months on end.
Well the day never came, and we never did get a hold of the paperwork. The worst part, is the fact that they never made a legal contract between them.
After half a year, and still nothing from him, we really didn't care if we got the title for the car, or simply got our money back.
Soon we agreed on him coming to pick the car back up, in return for the money.
On the first day, he came to pick up the parts. On the second day he was supposed to pick up the car, and leave the money. Sadly, this was the day that I left for my holiday, and everything turned from bad to worse.
When I came back, I found out from my parents that he took the car, but somehow got away without leaving the money.
This is when he started ignoring me.

Since that day, about two weeks ago, I only got a hold of him once.
He told me he wanted a middle man to speak to. He refused to speak to me, or my father (for reasons unknown).
When a business partner of my father spoke to him (as a middleman), he refused to speak to him before we had issued him a "power of attorney" over the issue.
Even after this, he has spoken to the middle man only one time - where he promised to show up with the money, again, didn't come.
I also drove to his house with a friend of mine. Told him when we'd be there (its a two hour drive to his house).. And of course, he wasn't home. We drove around for an hour and went back to his place, at which point his kids answered the door (My best guess - 6, 9, and 12 years old). I left a note for him on a business card - I'll be back.

I've been calling his cell phone 20 times a day for the past two weeks.
I've been calling his office multiple times a day.
I've been emailing him.. Leaving messages..
Trying anything to get ahold of him.

So why did I set up this website?
Quite simple, I wanted to warn you of this scammer Martin Schulz, and maybe get some help.
I'm not setting up any adsense on this site, or any other paid links. I don't want to make money off this site, I merely want MY car, or MY money back.

S
imple, you could start by linking back to us, and spreading the word..
Or, ideally you could help me a bit more.
I haven't been able to get ahold of him.
Maybe you can?

His cell phone number is (+49 for germany) 015204196840. Now, its mostly shut off. I've left countless voicemails.. But maybe you can get through, and see if he'll finally talk to me?

The other way I get ahold of him would be through his office, Vermittlungs Buero Ostkueste.
This number would be (+49) 04825902035

Thanks for reading this, and thanks for your support.. I'll keep updating this page if I hear anything.
With your help, I'm sure we can reach him, and I can finally get my money back.

Thanks again,
Lyn
